United Utilities offers more than a dozen apprenticeship roles in Cumbria
United Utilities is hosting a drop in event for people to find out more about apprenticeship opportunities in Cumbria.
The North West’s water company is looking to recruit for more than a dozen roles in Cumbria for 2026. These include engineering, operations and project management roles.
To find out more, Cumbrians are being invited to an event at United Utilities’ information centre in Windermere on Wednesday 14 January between 4pm and 7pm. Staff will be on hand to answer questions about the available roles and how apprenticeships work.
Apprentices at United Utilities earn while they learn, studying Apprenticeship Standards which are endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships and the Department for Education, while also gaining hands-on experience.
Apprenticeships vary from 18 months to six years depending on the scheme and United Utilities has been recognised as one of the Sunday Times Top 100 apprenticeship employers.
Applications are due to open at the end of January. For more information on United Utilities' apprenticeship schemes, please visit www.unitedutilities.com/corporate/careers/
