Your water, your say

Your Water, Your Say

We recently shared our draft business plan for 2025-30 in which we propose to make the biggest investment in the North West's water infrastructure for over 100 years. We plan to invest £13.7billion across the region to improve services for customers and the environment, enabling us to build a stronger, greener, healthier North West for everyone.

As part of the process, we engaged with over 95,000 people across the region, from Cumbria, Lancashire and Merseyside to Manchester and Cheshire, talking to thousands of people to help shape plans and address the things that you've told us matter most.

Have your say

In addition to this, we held a series of live and open ‘Your Water, Your Say’, online meetings where our Chief Executive Louise Beardmore and her Exec team ran through the plans. Attendees were encouraged to ask questions on any topic of their choice or to submit questions in advance for the Chair to raise on their behalf.

The events took place in June and November with meetings focusing on each of the five counties we serve across the North West and one regional event. The regional meeting was hosted by an Independent Chair, appointed by our regulator Ofwat and the Consumer Council for Water (CCW). The events in June sought feedback on our proposals; the events in November provided details of the actual draft plan submitted to Ofwat.
