Good news, our team have now arrived on site to repair the burst at the junction of Ashton New Road and Clayton Lane.
All customers should have supply however this may fluctuate during peak times of the day. You may also notice our water tankers pumping additional water into our pipework, keeping supply on whilst we start repairs in the area. We’re sorry for any disruption this may be causing. We’ll do all we can to keep this to a minimum. Thanks again for your continued patience.

We’re sorry if you’re experiencing no water or low water pressure right now. A burst has been reported to us on Ashton New Road and we can confirm this is the cause of the problem.
Our team will be in the area as soon as possible to get this fixed.
You may also experience some discolouration to your water, this happens when historical sediments that have built up over time in the water pipe have been disturbed causing discolouration to your water.
We know it doesn’t look nice but don’t worry, it’s unlikely to be harmful and will settle down again with time. You can help by letting your cold water tap run at a slight trickle until your water runs clear again.
In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye on this to make sure your tap water returns to normal again as quickly as possible. Please take a look at our discoloured water page for more information.
Head back here where we’ll provide you with updates as we get them.
