Parts of our network sit underground, and we have to dig down to gain access to them. This can cause hazards in the area for both our customers and workers, so we need to put traffic management in place before we can get started.
Please bear with us whilst we get this sorted. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We’re sorry if you’re experiencing no water or low water pressure right now. A burst has been reported to us on Cowpe Road and we can confirm this is the cause of the problem. Our team will be in the area as soon as possible to get this fixed.
You may also be experiencing discoloured water. This happens when historical sediments that have built up over time in the water pipe have been disturbed causing discolouration to your water.
We know it doesn’t look nice but don’t worry, it’s unlikely to be harmful and will settle down again with time. You can help by letting your cold water tap run at a slight trickle until your water runs clear again.
In the meantime we’ll be keeping an eye on this to make sure your tap water returns to normal again as quickly as possible. Please take a look at our discoloured water page
