Clowbridge Reservoir

A variety of walks await at Clowbridge reservoir. Whether it’s the accessible walk around the reservoir, or a longer walk into the community woodland surrounded by the spectacular moorland views - this is a great place to take some time out.

On the reservoir it’s all go with sailing, wind surfing and fishing, organised through the thriving Rossendale Valley Sailing Club. There is also orienteering courses available at Greater Manchester Orienteering Association.

Bridleway joins the National Trails - Mary Towneley Loop, Penine Bridleway.

Picnic area located close to the car park.

Accessible circular walk around the reservoir, with several self-guided walks through the woodland.

Dogs allowed, but not on the reservoir circular path.
