Sorry again if you’re experiencing no water or low pressure in your area, we’ve made progress and our team will continue working throughout the night to repair the burst on Anderson Close.
We will also still have the support of our fleet of water tankers pumping additional water into the pipes, however you may notice some fluctuations in pressure especially during peak times of the day.
Thanks for your patience and understanding whilst our team tackle the repair.
We’d like to thank you for your ongoing patience whilst we work to resolve the issue with your water supply. Our engineers are now onsite and are working to repair the burst on Anderson Close.
We’re sorry if you’re still experiencing issues with your water, it’s our top priority to get things back to normal.
To keep customers taps flowing, we’ve been working to re-route water and our fleet of water tankers are in your area pumping additional water into the pipes.
Whilst we work to repair the burst you may notice fluctuations in your pressure or that your water appears discoloured.
This has happened because of a disturbance in the water mains in your area. Historical sediments that have built up over time in the water pipe have been disturbed causing discolouration to your water. This normally happens when we have carried out a repair or have replaced a section of water main.
We know it doesn’t look nice but don’t worry, it’s unlikely to be harmful and will settle down again with time. You can help by letting your cold water tap run at a slight trickle until your water runs clear again.
In the meantime we’ll be keeping an eye on this to make sure your tap water returns to normal again as quickly as possible. Please take a look at our discoloured water page for more information.
