Work will be continuing on site tonight, but we’re happy to let you know that water supply has been restored to all properties in the area.
While we continue working to get everything fully back to normal, you might notice some changes in water pressure from time to time. This is expected and should settle once the network stabilises.
Some customers may also see discoloured water coming from their taps. This happens when natural sediment inside the pipes is stirred up during repair work. Although it may look unusual, it’s generally not harmful and should clear on its own. Running your cold kitchen tap at a gentle trickle can help speed things up. We’re sorry if you’re still experiencing no water or poor pressure today. We fixed the initial burst, however we’ve now located a secondary burst which is still causing some issues with supplies in the area.
