We’ve now fixed the burst affecting water supplies in your area. All customers should now see their water supply return to normal, this may happen slowly as the water mains in the area need to re-fill; we do this gradually in order to stop additional damage occurring on the pipework.
We’ll be keeping a close eye on this throughout the afternoon to ensure everything returns to normal.
Thank you for your patience and we’re sorry for any inconvenience.

We’re sorry if you’re experiencing no water or low water pressure right now. Just to let you know, we’ve found the cause of no water or low pressure to be a burst water main. Now that we’ve identified the cause of the problem, our team will assess the issue and start the repair work shortly.
Just to let you know for us to keep your supply on whilst we complete the repair, we’ll be re-routing water around our network of pipes. Please be assured, we’ll still be providing you with the same high standard quality of water. You may notice your water pressure is lower than normal or there may be fluctuations during peak times.
You may also be experiencing discoloured water. This happens when historical sediments that have built up over time in the water pipe have been disturbed causing discolouration to your water.
We know it doesn’t look nice but don’t worry, it’s unlikely to be harmful and will settle down again with time. You can help by letting your cold water tap run at a slight trickle until your water runs clear again.
In the meantime we’ll be keeping an eye on this to make sure your tap water returns to normal again as quickly as possible. Please take a look at our discoloured water page
