COVID 19 update
Our recreation site car park and toilets will remain open, following Government guidance. We will continue to monitor this.
Please follow social distancing guidelines, stick to the footpath, and keep a 2 metre distance to ensure the safety of yourself, other visitors and our staff.
Please stick to the rule of 6 or one other household.
Please act responsibly, stay local and stay safe.Jumbles Country Park was opened in 1971 by Queen Elizabeth II. Situated north of Bolton and easily accessible via public transport, it is an ideal location to spend some time outdoors with the family. Wildlife lovers might be lucky enough to spot Woodpecker and Kingfisher, and there are plenty of trees and plants along the way to practise species identification skills.
The Jumbles Country Park café offers refreshments with a scenic view, or a pleasant place for a spot of lunch.
Sailing and fishing are available for those wishing to take to the water, or there is a gentle circular path, suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, around the reservoir itself.
