Helping to improve water quality in Dibbinsdale Brook and Clatter Brook.
The £3 million investment will help protect and enhance the local environment by reducing the number of times that the storm overflows operate. We’re installing an above-ground 900m3 storm water storage tank within the grounds of our site at Raby Road, Thornton Hough. The improvement work is expected to be completed in late 2026.
During construction
We will make sure the local community are regularly updated, and our customer representatives will be available to answer any queries throughout the programme of work.
