Our upgrade activity involves installing a new section of sewer which will directly link into our Eccles Wastewater Treament site. This will provide additional capacity for storm water in the network as we're also carrying out improvements at our Eccles site.

To avoid extensive digging within the road and reduce duration, we utilised a tunnelling technique with specialist machinery. This required a temporary road closure on a section of Peel Green Road.

Thank you for your understanding as the closure period was extended due to underground utilities and structures which were in different locations than indicated on service maps.
