Improvements we're making

We're upgrading the site to help it operate more effectively and continue protecting the local environment. These improvements will help us treat the wastewater to improved standards and support the long-term performance of the site.

As part of the upgrade, we'll be installing new equipment and enhancing existing facilities to improve the treatment process. We'll also be increasing storage capacity so the site can better manage wastewater and rainfall during periods of wet weather.

The project includes improvements that will help the site run more reliably, reduce the risk of issues during heavy rainfall, and support higher environmental standards. Some older equipment will also be replaced or removed as part of the modernisation works.

Once complete, these upgrades will help ensure the site continues to provide an effective wastewater service for the local community while helping to protect nearby waterways and the environment.
