We abstract raw water from the River Lune, which is then taken to one of our treatment sites for processing before providing homes and business with a clean and reliable water supply.

We worked closely with the Environment Agency as we carried out improvements to our water intake screens on the River Lune. Using specialist diving teams, we installed enhanced screens to ensure eels and elvers have a safe passage through the river catchment.
