Improving water quality in the River Ribble

What will the work involve?

Our work here involves the construction of three storage tanks which will temporarily store storm water and, once conditions allow, releasing the water back into the sewer network for treatment at Preston (Clifton Marsh) Wastewater Treatment Works. The work is expected to be completed in spring 2028.
