Water meter trial – time to choose

You are now at the end of your two year meter trial and it’s time to decide what to do next.

You can either:

  • Option 1: extend your meter trial for an additional two years.
  • Option 2: switch back to your old fixed rateable value bills.

If you would like to extend your water meter trial for a further two years please confirm below. You’ll then continue to benefit from our lowest bill guarantee, which means we’ll continue to compare your water use against your rateable value bills and charge you whatever is the lower amount. At the end of the additional two year trial we’ll contact you again to ask if you would like to stay on meter charges.

It’s really important that you tell us if you wish to extend your meter trial for a further two years. If we don’t hear from you we’ll assume that you would prefer to go back to rateable value bills.

We will transfer you back to your old way of charging automatically when your two year trial period comes to an end and we will no longer compare your water use against your fixed bill. If you change your mind in the future please get in touch on 0345 072 6065 and we’ll switch you back to meter charges.

Declaration: Yes, please extend my water meter trial for a further two years and continue to compare my water use against my rateable value bills and charge me the lower amount. I understand that I can cancel this agreement at any point within the next 24 months and switch back to rateable value charging.
