Incident updates

We’ve now fixed the issue affecting water supplies in your area. We will shortly begin refilling the water main and restoring water to our customers’ taps. This process can take a little time, as the main needs to be refilled gradually to help protect the pipework and prevent any further issues.

We’ll be closely monitoring the network to make sure everything returns to normal.

You may also experience some discolouration to your water, this happens when historical sediments that have built up over time in the water pipe have been disturbed causing discolouration to your water.

We know it doesn’t look nice but don’t worry, it’s unlikely to be harmful and will settle down again with time. You can help by letting your cold water tap run at a slight trickle until your water runs clear again.
