We’ve now fixed the burst water main at the junction of Longsight Lane and Hough Fold Way affecting water supplies in your area. Your supply should now begin returning to normal, although this may happen gradually as the water mains refill. We do this slowly to help protect the pipework and prevent any further issues.
We’ll continue to monitor the network to make sure everything returns to normal as soon as possible.
Just to let you know, we will continue to monitor discolouration in the area over the next 24 hours to make sure that everyone’s supply returns back to normal.
