- A variety of walks. Sailing, wind surfing and fishing. Benches to sit and enjoy the scenic views.
- Location
- Davyhulme Millenium Nature Reserve, Daresbury Avenue, Urmston, Manchester, M41 8QL.
- Amenities
- Parking available on site. No toilets on site. No refreshments on site.
- Main attractions
- Viewing point for Manchester shipping canal. Pram and pushchair friendly. A place for short walks.
- Location
- Dove Stone Reservoir, Dove Stone Sailing Club, Bank Lane Car Park, Off Holmfirth Rd, Greenfield, Oldham, OL3 7NE.
- Amenities
- Parking available on site. Toilets at the car park. No refreshments on site.
- Main attractions
- Panoramic view of the southern pennines. Orienteering courses. Flat paths around the three reservoirs. RSPB reserve with many birds.
- Location
- Entwistle Reservoir, Batridge Rd, Bolton BL7 0LU.
- Amenities
- Free parking available. No toilets on site but there is a nearby pub. Suitable for wheelchairs around Entwistle but not Wayoh.
- Main attractions
- Entwistle is a flat, easy walk, meandering around the reservoir and is filled with wildlife and a great bird watching spot all year round. The reservoir also features the heron sculpture.

- Goyt Valley, Errwood Reservoir, Buxton, SK17 6GJ.

- Links to longer walks within the Peak District. Fly fishing and sailing on Errwood Reserovir.
