Developer Day 2023 – Stronger, Greener, Healthier North West
We held our Annual Developer day this year on 11th October 2023 at St Helens Totally Wicked Stadium.
In attendance we had over 300 stakeholders from Housing Associations, Developers, and Self-lay providers plus support from Exhibitors demonstrating on Sustainable Homes for the future.
Scott Green opened the event on talked about the Customer Experience and the importance of building strong relationships in the North-West and our aspirations to deliver for our customers.
Mike Gauterin followed on and addressed the group on the challenges we all face from Carlisle to Crewe as we live in the area its everyone’s responsibility to change with the times and look at ways for innovation, emphasising the significance of collaborative decision-making in addressing challenges such as surface water flooding and reducing water wastage at the household level. Mike warmly welcomed input from the House Building Community to ensure that our current actions safeguard the interests of future generations.
This year's conference centred around the theme of "Building a Stronger, Greener, and Healthier North-West" with a specific focus on the perspective of house builders. The goal is to adapt to a changing landscape to secure a sustainable future for everyone.
Throughout the October event, we engaged in meaningful discussions on various topics, including:
- Charging: Exploring ways to support new sustainable development incentives.
- Smart Metering: Delving into the future landscape and the changes it entails.
- Water Customer Journey: Enhancing the experience for our valued customers.
- Wastewater Customer Journey: Streamlining the journey for wastewater-related services.
- Operational Delivery: Emphasizing water quality and the need to preserve it.
- Customer Room: Making it effortless for our customers to do business with us.
