How do I disconnect my water supply?

There are various scenarios in which you may need to disconnect your supply pipe.

Here are the most common ones:

Lead supply pipe replacement

If you’re on your own supply (single supply), we’ll disconnect your old supply when we complete the new connection.

If you are on a shared or common supply, your plumber will need to complete the disconnection from the shared supply where it joins to the shared section of the common supply pipe.


Household property demolition

To request a permanent disconnection, please call us on 0345 672 2888 (if you don't have a water meter) or 0345 672 2999 (if you have a water meter).

Commercial properties

The disconnection is managed by the retailer and carried out by our network teams.
