Making waves on the air
A school from Wigan will soon be hitting the airwaves to help warn of the dangers of swimming in reservoirs.
Youngsters from Cansfield High School won a competition to come up with a hard hitting public safety radio advert.
Every spring and summer when the weather warms up, young people are risking their lives by swimming in reservoirs and other open water such as lakes and quarries. We doing everything we can to get the message out there so youngsters don’t take the risk – and who better to tell that story than the young people themselves?
