We have an important update for customers currently affected by the boil water notice across Blackpool, Chorley, Fylde, Preston, South Ribble and Wyre.

We are now able to lift the boil water advice for a further 9,000 customers in parts of Lancashire. Customers in the remaining parts of Chorley no longer need to boil their tap water. All areas south of the River Ribble are now back to normal.  Please check your postcode here to confirm which postcodes no longer need to boil water for drinking, brushing teeth or food preparation. Today we have issued details on compensation.

For those still subject to the boil water advice, please continue to boil your water until advised otherwise. We will be keeping you informed and this page will be updated on a regular basis.
