United Utilities access codes

From 1st December 2005, Water Supply Licensees (licensees) are able to request access to UUW's water supply system to supply water to eligible customers. This access is governed by the Water Industry Act 1991, as amended by the Water Act 2003.

Our Access Code for the use of the Water Supply System can be accessed here, together with application forms for access to our water supply system.

The prices charged for access will be determined on a case specific basis for each application. However, the indicative prices shown here give a guide to licensees and potential licensees of the likely level of prices for wholesale and combined access, for a given set of scenarios and assumptions.

Both access codes have been reviewed and published as of 15th October 2012 in line with United Utilities Water licence Condition R. Access codes complying to the Ofwat access code guidance (published October 2011) are as follows Wholesale supply and Combined supply.
