Boil water advice lifted in Bolton – Thursday 23 July 14.30pm

United Utilities is advising customers in Bolton that there is no longer any need to boil their water for drinking and eating purposes.

The boil water advice was issued on Tuesday 21 July, 2015 as a precautionary measure following a technical failure at the water treatment works which supplies the area. Water samples taken by United Utilities indicate that water quality is back to its normal high standards. This means all customers can use their water as normal.

Once again we are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and co-operation.
