United Utilities Water Limited - access codes

From 1st December 2005, Water Supply Licensees (licensees) are able to request access to UUW's water supply system to supply water to eligible non household customers. This access is governed by the Water Industry Act 1991, as amended by the Water Act 2003.

Our Access Code for the use of the Water Supply System can be accessed here.

The prices charged for access will be determined on a case specific basis for each application. However, the indicative prices shown here give a guide to licensees and potential licensees of the likely level of prices for combined access, for a given set of scenarios and assumptions.

This access code has been reviewed and published as of 12 October 2023 in line with United Utilities Water Licence Condition S.  The Access Code complying to the Ofwat access code guidance (published October 2011) is as follows combined supply (PDF 942 KB opens in a new window).
