Will installing a water meter save me money?

The majority of our customers who switch to a meter make a saving on their water bills. The good news is that you have up to 24 months to decide if you wish to go back to rateable value bills if you're not making a saving.

Use our water usage calculator to see if you could make a saving based on how much water you currently use. This is for customers that pay for water and wastewater services, which is the majority of our customers. For the small number of customers that only pay for water (you may have a septic tank) we can still work out your saving, please call us on 0345 672 3999.

If you already have a water meter fitted in your home, our calculator will give you some hints and tips on how to make further water savings, helping to reduce your water bill. Give it a try - you might be surprised at how much you could save.
