If you are, or have had any period of part time service, your part time service builds up as a proportion of the equivalent full time service, and is calculated on your equivalent full time salary.
For example, if you have been in the Scheme for 20 years and work half the full-time equivalent number of hours during that whole period then your pensionable service would be 10 years i.e. half of 20.
Any period of full time service will be counted as full time in the calculation of your pension.
If you would like more information on how your part-time service affects your pension you should contact the Scheme Administrators.
