Our current business plan covers the period 2015 to 2020 and we’re in the process of producing our new plan that will cover 2020 to 2025, that process is called Price Review 2019 (PR19).
Price Review 2019: our business plan - What it means for you
It's the process that ultimately determines how much you're going to pay for your water and wastewater services.
Every five years, water companies in England and Wales have to submit a detailed business plan which outlines how much they have to spend to deliver you with high quality, efficient services. The water sector's economic regulator, Ofwat, assesses and challenges each of these business plans as part of its “price review” process.
United Utilities – like every other water company – is currently working towards the 2019 Price Review, which is also known as “PR19”. At United Utilities, we’re fully committed to providing you with the best possible service at the lowest price – and this will remain at the heart of all we do. We’re also actively looking for ambitious and innovative ways to improve how we operate. We’re seeking new ways to support those of you who have trouble paying your bill as well as offering additional tailored support to those of you who need it most. We’re also challenging ourselves to spend less while ensuring your water and wastewater service is truly future-proofed.
Throughout this process we’re ensuring that the North West remains a vibrant and beautiful place where we can all enjoy life.
