New application forms for new water connections

In Developer Services we’ve updated our application forms for new water connections off existing mains. Instead of them being based on the size of the connection you require, they are now based on the type of development you are doing.

The new forms are called:

• Application for a domestic water connection – this replaces the old AWS1 form ‘Application for 25mm connection to an existing main’, it should be used for houses only.
  
  
• Application for a water supply for flats and apartments – this should be used instead of the old AWS2 form ‘Application for a 32mm or larger water connection to an existing main’. The new form now includes 25mm connections if this is what you need for your development.
  
  
• Application for a water supply for commercial properties – this should be used instead of the old AWS2 form ‘Application for a 32mm or larger water connection to an existing main’. The new form includes 25mm connections, if this is what you need for your commercial development.

The new forms are editable pdfs so just download a copy and save it to your computer. Once you’ve completed it, save a copy and email it to us on DeveloperServicesWater@uuplc.co.uk.

These forms should now be used instead of the old forms, so please delete any copies of the old forms that you may have.
