Watergrove reservoir
Come and enjoy Watergrove!
Watergrove has spectacular views over Rochdale and towards Oldham which are best seen from the many footpaths that link into the national trail.
The reservoir was built in the 1930’s and a number of artefacts from the submerged village of Watergrove can still be seen set into the reservoir dam wall. The ruins of former farmhouses can still be seen higher up on the catchment.
