Water efficiency incentive

To support the efficient use of water by business customers, retailers are eligible to take part in our water efficiency incentive scheme. The retailer is entitled to claim a one off payment from United Utilities as a contribution towards the cost of any water efficiency interventions made on a non-household site. The payment will be made in recognition of efforts to reduce overall water consumption in the non-household retail market. 

This offer is available on a SPID by SPID basis and awarded where water efficiency interventions are introduced with a proven reduction in consumption. We will calculate the one off payment based on the number of litres saved per day multiplied by the incentive payment, up to a maximum of £3,000 for a single application.
