Apply for a water meter

Certain terms and conditions apply when having a water meter fitted - such as only the person named on the water bill can apply for a water meter.

It can take up to eight weeks before the meter is fitted, but we'll try to do it quicker if we can.

We now fit meters inside your home. The new technology we use means we can read them remotely and not need to disturb you.

If you want your meter fitted outside, we will have to charge you more to cover the higher installation costs.

We will need to gain access to your incoming water supply pipe to allow us to install the meter. This may require the removal of any obstruction to the pipework to ensure a successful installation.
