Wastewater Services

Every day we collect 1,271 million litres of used water (from flushed loos, emptied sinks, baths, showers and household appliances) and take it along 78,000 kilometres of pipes and sewers to our wastewater treatment works for cleaning, before safely returning it to the rivers and sea. It's a dirty job but we're more than happy to do it - after all, number twos are our number one priority!
