Ways to pay your water bill
Your bill covers the charges of providing water to the place where you live and taking used water away again to be treated.
You can pay your bill in several different ways, to suit you. You can pay by cash, cheque, postal order, debit or credit card, over the phone or online. If you would prefer to spread the costs over the year, you have the option of paying in instalments. And you can pay at any location displaying the Payzone logo.
One of the easiest ways to budget for your payments is to pay by Direct Debit. If you choose to pay this way, we'll reduce your bill by £5 each year.

Payzone
|
The free and convenient way to pay.
Simply take your water bill to any location displaying the Payzone sign. You can find Payzone outlets in local newsagents, supermarkets, convenience stores and service stations.

At a bank
|
You can pay at your own bank or building society. Just take your bill with you. You can pay by cash or with a cheque made payable to United Utilities Water Limited.
Please be aware that some banks and building societies will charge for this service.

At the Post Office
|
You can pay your water bill at the Post Office but please be aware that you will be charged a fee every time you use this service.

By post
|
Simply send a cheque or postal order made payable to United Utilities Water Limited to the address shown on your bill. Please do not send cash through the post. Make sure you write your customer account number on the back of the cheque. This is found on the top right of your bill |
