Moving out of our area or no longer responsible for bills?
Goodbye and good luck in your new home!
When you’re letting us know about your move you’ll need to have handy :
Your account number
If you’re already one of our customers, you’ll have an account number, this is the 10 digit number beginning with a 4 on the top right hand side of your latest bill. This will make it quicker and easier to close your account.
Your moving out date
Please let us know us as close to your move date as possible but no sooner than 28 days before you move so that we can update your account.
An up to date final meter reading (if you’ve got a water meter)
To keep things simple we don’t use the red numbers on your meter, it’s only the black numbers you need to make a note of when you read your meter.
If you’re unable to read your meter, let us know two weeks before you move and we’ll come and read it for you. If your new property has a meter, let us know what that is too.

If you let us know the details of who's moving into your old home so we can amend our records.
Your forwarding address
If you’re moving away from the North West, you’ll be changing water supplier, you can check here if your new home is in our area.
You’ll still need to let know where you are moving to as well as any contact information for you so we can contact you if we need to or send you a refund for any money we owe you.
