Getting a new main from us
If your new development includes building a new street, it is likely that you will be getting new water mains. The cost of your new main will often be subsidised and if we install your water main, you will probably only pay part of the full installation cost. Similarly, if you chose to self lay the new main then we often make a contribution to those costs. You can be assured that no matter who you choose to install your new water main; you will still get the same subsidy.
Whether you choose to self lay or ask us to install your water main our Developer Services team will be there to help you. We can provide you with all the information you need to plan and install your new water main. We will also help to plan your new water connections so that your development is completed without delay.
