An existing customer moving within our area
When you’re letting us know about your move you’ll need to have handy :
Your account number
If you’re already one of our customers, you’ll have an account number, this is the 10 digit number beginning with a 4 on the top right hand side of your latest bill. This will make it quicker for us to find your account and update your details.
Your moving in date
Please let us know the date you are moving as close to you move date as possible but no sooner than 28 days before your move so that we can update your account.
An up to date meter reading (if you’ve got a water meter)
To keep things simple we don’t use the red numbers on your meter, it’s only the black numbers you need to make a note of when you read your meter.
If you’re unable to read your meter, let us know two weeks before you move and we’ll come and read it for you.
If your new property has a meter, please also let us have a meter reading from the meter in your new home.
