Vlogging sensations need your vote
Students from five high schools across the region are in with a chance of getting their hands on £250 PC vouchers and a further £1,000 donation for their school.
United Utilities set-up a vlogging competition, to spread the word that wipes are bad news for loos.
Rose Francis, United Utilities’ campaigns manager, said: “Things like wipes don’t just disappear down the u-bend and dissolve – they clump together and cause havoc in the sewers. All too often we see the misery caused to people when blocked sewers have caused their homes and gardens to flood with sewage.”
“Tapping into the teenage market, an age-group we’re always trying to target is key for us as a company to get the next generation enlightened to the issue of flushing the wrong things down the loo.
“We received some brilliant videos and our fantastic finalists now need your votes to get crowned Vlogstars champion 2017.
Voting is now open for Vlogstars. All you need to do to make your favourite a winner is to vote. The videos are all available to watch http://www.unitedutilities.com/services/wastewater-services/uu-vlogstars-2017-competition/
