New Year, new apprentice opportunities

9 January 2017

Students thinking about employment opportunities in the New Year are being advised not to miss out on the Warrington Apprenticeship and Jobs Fair.

The event hosted by FTSE 100 water company United Utilities and the National Apprenticeship Service, will give students and their parents the opportunity to hear first-hand from over 30 high profile North West Employers about the 1000+ apprentice opportunities that are available in the region.

It’s free to attend and will take place on Thursday, January 26 at The Centre, Brichwood Park, Warrington, WA3 6YN.

Tickets are available from EventBrite warringtonapprenticefair.eventbrite.co.uk

Steve Fraser, Managing Director at United Utilities said “These events give young people across the North West the chance to meet some of our top employers face-to-face who are all offering a range of fantastic job opportunities."

“Hiring apprentices is a recognised way of attracting new talent and developing a motivated, skilled and diverse workforce.  Events like these, where those seeking employment have the opportunity to find out more about apprenticeships first hand, are therefore hugely important."

"I would definitely recommend and encourage all young people reading this, along with their parents to book a place.”
