Man suffers head injury at reservoir

A man was taken to hospital after he was found close to Naden Reservoir near Rochdale.
The 53-year-old suffered an injury to his head and was found by first responders from the North West Ambulance in a remote car park close to the reservoir off Rooley Moor Road.
An ambulance was called to the scene at around 12:30pm.
Paramedic Rod Cape later tweeted “Tricky job, Naden Reservoir, Norden. Walker suffered Q MI? LOC & fallen into water. Trauma to head and hypothermic.”
United Utilities has been told that the man was taken to the nearby Rochdale A&E for treatment.
Rangers are now investigating the incident anyone who may have saw what happened can get in touch.
