Update - August 2011
All roads affected by the scheme have been permanently reinstated and are open again for public use. We are currently carrying out the reinstatement of the fields off Tannery Lane and Station Road - this will be completed soon and the land handed back to the owners.
We have now completed the outfall into the River Mersey adjacent to Penketh Brook ourfall and have laid all of the pipe work from Whittle Brook Pumping Station to the outfall. We have started the reinstatement of the affected land and will continue with this for the next few weeks, followed by demobilisation of our site compounds at Whittle Brook and Hall Nook.
