Apply for a water meter

Please make sure you have read the questions about meters so that you understand the conditions of having a water meter fitted

Certain terms and conditions apply when having a water meter fitted - like only the person named on the water bill can apply for a water meter.

It can take up to three months before the meter is fitted, but we'll try to do it quicker.

We now fit meters inside your home. The new technology we use means we can read them remotely and not need to disturb you.

If you want your meter fitted outside, we will have to charge you more to cover the higher installation costs.

We will need to gain access to your incoming water supply pipe to allow us to install the meter. This may require the removal of any obstruction to the pipework to ensure a successful installation.
