Pick up a free water saving gadget at one of our roadshows

People in the North West are being urged to pick up a free water saving device when they visit a host of shops and attractions over the next two weeks.
Water company United Utilities will be handing out free tips and gadgets at superstores and other venues as part of a series of "save water" roadshows across the north west.
Staff will be at the following places giving out water saving packs which include a handy save-a-flush gadget to pop in your toilet cistern. The device saves a litre of water with every flush.

Sat Jul 3 - Cheshire Oaks outlet at Ellesmere Port, between 10am and 7pm
Mon Jul 5 - Morrisons superstore in Whitehaven, between 11am and 6pm
Tues Jul 6 - Morrisons superstore in Workington, between 11am and 6pm
Wed Jul 7 - Rheged centre near Penrith, between 10am and 4pm

United Utilities is urging every one of its seven million customers to be more water wise following the driest start to the year since its records began.
Paul Parr, the company's water efficiency manager, said: "This year has been exceptionally dry and reservoir levels across the region are lower than they should be in July. We share our water supplies with the environment so every little bit people can do to save water will help. If all our seven million customers saved some water every day the cumulative effect would be enormous.
"Even something as simple as turning off the tap when brushing your teeth could potentially save up to 18 litres each time, that's enough to run some washing machines. Switching from taking baths to using showers and making sure your dishwasher or washing machine is full when you use it means you're getting the maximum use from your water supply."
