Everything's gone green at water company

Cheshire-based water company United Utilities will soon be holding a sustainability fair to encourage employees to be more 'green-minded'.

The fair, which is being held in conjunction with the Trade Union Congress (TUC), will take place on Wednesday, August 19 and is designed to highlight what the business is currently doing to improve sustainability, promote energy efficiency and raise awareness of climate change.

Information stalls will be manned by United Utilities staff as well as representatives from the Carbon Trust, Energy Saving Trust and Warrington Borough Council.

Helen Waine, United Utilities' Sustainability Advisor, said: "This is a great opportunity for us to collaborate with the TUC on an important issue that affects us all."
